16-year-old brother expected to pack healthy lunches for his 3 younger siblings, he refuses and stops making his own food in protest of mom's demands: "I don't wanna do stuff for them"

I was in middle school when I started packing my own lunches. Before that, it was my dad that would do this task for me every morning. My family is from Latin American; people don't really eat bologna sandwiches and Capri Suns there for lunch. So, he would usually make some pretty elaborate meals for me. Thankfully, the kids at my American school didn't make fun of me for my plantains and black beans, but once I hit puberty, the need to "fit in" was incredibly overwhelming. So, I ditched the homecooked meals in favor of PBJs that I prepared myself. Looking back, I really appreciate my dad's efforts in making me comforting meals to take to school.

In our story today, a young teen, tired of the junk food served in his school's cafeteria, starts packing his own healthy lunches. When his mother catches wind of his newfound respect for the culinary arts, she demands that he start making food for his younger siblings, too, even they don't really mind having pizza and milk for lunch.
